New album ‘Holiday From Me’ out today!

Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! 

After 10 years I have finally given birth to a new album which is out today! I hired a whole fucking train earlier in the week and we secretly travelled to The Old Library in Cronulla and got our party to celebrate.

What started off as a funny idea for friends kinda turned into a full on gig where I played the album in full with a bunch of my singer friends showing up to do live vocals, including my amazing soul sister Ngaiire, Brendan Maclean, Nathan Hudson (Faker), Tim Derricourt (Dappled Cities) and my fave aussie soul/hero/inspiration Dave Mason from The Reels.  I can’t tell you how much of a dream come true it was.

Thank you family, thank you Lachlan Valley Railway and 3801 for making that happen. Thank you Mario and thank you to the The Old Library Cronulla.

Seriously, when I was 16 and working out what I wanted to do with my life, it was literally two choices, musician or train driver! On the night, I felt like I realised both dreams.
Thank you everyone for making it happen.

This album ‘Holiday From Me‘ has meant so fucking much to me. So many songs, so much love, so much pain, so many false starts and premature endings… but now it feels complete.
